Life hurries on. Next generation burgeoning while previous one, two and three are going, going, gone. Meanwhile, discussions from quarter of a century ago are today reality. With more coming fast and faster. Going exponential or reaching a cusp. But could be parabolic, hyperbolic or asymptotic. Many mathematical functions or hyperboles might apply to what is soon to become reality as we know it. US$ going belly up with. $trillions in Zimbabwe Argentine mode and DOGE reportedly crashed on takeoff. Fraud, theft and inefficiency are likely small compared with 200 million people voting for free stuff. Made in China communism failed bigly while USA soared 100 years ago. Now Virtuous Victorian Values in China soar while bludging, thieving, and demand for free stuff Made in USA and Eurostan crashes and burns. The panic seems to be on. Gold now $3,200 = heading for my $10,000 predicted 20 years ago if USA went wastrel in a big way. They did. Now turbocharged. The big wildcard is It aka AI as predicted and planned. by me also quarter of a century ago. It's possible that USA could do as with the telecom cyberspace revolution of the 1990s onwards. It/AI is so supernaturally vast compared with garden variety temporal life that USA might simply rule the world. China might be too suppressive. AI might be handcuffed in China like Hu jintao was unceremoniously marched off stage and Jack Ma vanished and that artist bloke was humbled. A couple of years ago I thought USA would have to save the dollar because of its vast value to USA by dilution tax paid by people around the world. But looks like failure. Luckily for me I bailed out at the bottom compared with NZ$. Most Americans seem to be in favour of going for broke. Same as New Zealand. And England. And Euroserfs. What's the timing on teotwawki? This year or next? Will it be a cusp from one day to the next or some other mathematical function? Will USA pull a rabbit out of the hat and become worth $quadrillions via It/AI? Will it go full Zimbabwe, Weimar Republic, French revolution, Argentine decline or MAD nuclear war and obliteration? Mqurice
