So, if it hasn't been reported yet, it hasn't happened?

Orwell 101.

Expect a lot of that.

You (the hard left) have gone all-in with the "bully" key word. It is stupid. This is a hard-core negotiation and everyone know it at this point.

It is great that it has moved to "all-in" so quickly. There will either be stalemate or resolution pretty quickly. In any case, the US can quickly take inventory and move forward with other trading partners quickly. They'll be building TVs in Vietnam in no time. While I understand you'd prefer a softer touch, your method introduces more pain to everyone involved.

It is possible China understands what to fear at this point, definitely: They are locked into a battle they simply cannot win. They need us more than we need them, and China knows that. Once we second-source the junk we buy from China, that business is gone, or at China's best, split from now on -- it is a permanent hit for China.

The US is in an advantageous position.

...

"Since when do victims of bullying report it? Mostly they just give up their lunch money, go hungry, and hunker down hoping that the bully doesn't notice them for another round. That's why bullying is so effective."
Trump has these demands on the table AFAIK to open more intensive negotiations with China:

1. Retract previous tariffs, subject to a threat of adding an additional 50% tariff if China doesn't comply.
2. He wants China to negotiate in good faith with the US to reduce the US trade deficit with China. This comes across to me, at least, as saying, "We want an even starting point for negotiations."

3. He is demanding China STOP sending fentanyl and its precursors here to poison our people.

Please explain to me how this is "bullying"? These are entirely reasonable asks before entering into negotiations.
