Trump seems to think that the only possible opposition to what he's doing must be immediate panic. I guess that's what it looks like when you have no principled core or contact with reality.

He must have been addressing that to his voters, the only ones who need to be shored up. Everyone else has been too disgusted for too long for patience to apply.
