I am always fascinated by both the things you find conceivable and those you don't.

They rarely coincide with reality.

I mean, there is no way that Biden or Harris would try to crash the global economy like Trump says he wants to do. That isn't exactly a formula for capital preservation. Nor would they deliberately try to get stagflation going, which is a great recipe for capital destruction as we saw in the 1970s and 1980s.

So I am not sure why you think Trump doing those things makes it better.

Rat's IRA was up about 29% last year, after distributions, and it was worth almost as much, within a few thousand dollars, as it was when I started withdrawing 10 years ago.
