Alex, Who knows? In time she too may be found to have inherited your allergies and it will be a moot point. Who knows? In time, there may be better and more effective antihistamines and it will cease to be a oot point. Who knows? In time, children may have more inalienable rights than they now enjoy. A frightening thought, that one. Who knows? BTW, I loved my pets dearly but am not a card-carrying fanatic about it. Bottom line is that I agree with you and think it is a decision to remain wholly in the province of the parents. Holly
