I agree especially w/ today's sell off!

I took my small gain in DELL but will enter it again and try to scale back in somewhere in the low $60's.
I did add (very small) to several REITs that have a div yields >6% but even those continue to sell off.

I peeled off a few T (close to 5 year highs), some UNFI (30% CAGR) and a little IP 24% CAGR but earlier sales this year I was booking 34% CAGR.

I still have a lot of gainers but CAGR is dropping. Do you book those profits? Hold or even add. There are better Buys now so my thought is to do 'selective' Buys and wait to add in size after we see another 10% correction. Also keeping new portfolio positions below 1% except for AMAT.

I started a 'NEW' position in Organon & Co. (OGN) mentioned up thread. Already underwater. This was a spin off from MRK has a low PE but has 'HUGE' debt. They are servicing the debt from FCF. Will treat this as a special situation and keep position size small perhaps build a 0.2% portfolio position.

I do think DELL will be a keeper for the long term if you can get in at whatever the low is. Could we see $50?. Like you, I have a lot of GTC orders in but typically 5% to 20% below the market. Seems like these are getting filled too fast.

I keep most/all of my gains inside the portfolio, so I never go all cash. I do have a large cash position that I eventually want to get working but patience is required.
