Per Genesis director of design:

”This will start with a new full-sized SUV that’ll be revealed at the New York Auto Show in May. We asked Genesis’ director of design, Luc Donckerwolke, what was in store for the future of the brand to which he told us: “You have seen it already with the new Neolun concept, which is a new flagship of the brand. Which will be the new flagship of the brand.”

no mention of smart glass but volumes ?seem? to be either more likely about ~25k/year or probably a typo 210k units/year.

Hyundai recently sent a request for quotation (RFQ) to its major partners detailing its plans for new EVs, including the GV90, to be built on a new Hyundai EV platform called eM, sources said.

Annual production volumes stated in the RFQ are 210,000 units for the GV90, 68,000 for the GV80, 40,000 for the GV70 and 51,000 for the GV80, they said.

Hyundai plans to build 1,132,000 units across four different Genesis models based on the eM platform from December 2025 through 2033, sources said.

Auto Express has confirmed that the all-new Genesis GV90 luxury SUV will make its world debut at the New York Motor Show, a year after the brand revealed the big and unashamedly bold Neolun concept that previewed its upcoming Range Rover rival.
