You can't even see how cruel Trump is, so I would question your judgement! You confuse cruelty with a lack of naivety. Trump understands that for decades we've been had. The country has been run gullible people without commitment to accounting for the money. You can't let people take advantage of you. And that is what has been happened for god knows how long in this government. It is now coming to an end. Of course everyone's going to whine. The party not in power is going to bitch about it. The people getting the money and the people they were handing it out to, everyone is whining.
