That is another lie. No one was taking advantage of us. Most tariffs were 1 or 2% and he slapped 20% on people. Including our friends and allies, and they won't forget it1 But worse he ruined our reputation as a fair and compassionate leader. And even the math in his bull shit equation was figured wrong i,e, 4 times too much. And he made all our allies hate us. You seem to discount the importance of trust and respect, which no one has with us any longer! < No one has been taking advantage of us, but we have been allowing ourselves to be run over. And that has to stop, because now, we are getting weak and other nations are getting strong. So, it is necessary for us to stand up for ourselves. We have been too timid, and now we're paying the price for it. And Trump, as president, has decided it must stop now. That is his job.
