Did you not get the Trump tweet this morning?

"Nows a great time to buy stocks!"

Rumor was that Bond market was imploding yesterday and Japan was selling their Treasuries. Perhaps that might be for the 90 day pause in Tariffs. Whatever was a "Rip In Your Face" rally.

If you stick to basic fundamental Value Investing & reversion to the mean, you continued to perform. However, even these High Tech stocks moved higher too.

----------------------------------------------

I continued to Buy w/ adds:

(most are REITs w/ good dividend yields)
AEO, ARE,NNN, ADM, OGN, FMC, BFS, KTB,KIM, SOBO, AMAT, LXP

Sells; peeled off a few T; HR (closed out this Reit), peeled off ENB 5.5% CAGR but 6.5% div

----------------------------------------------------

A pretty wild market but remember it's only a 90 day pause AND BEAR market rallies move fast and high !

Very nice selection of stocks. Next sell off I will need to focus on some of these High tech names like GOOGL. I did double my AMAT position in the last 10 days. I see the CEO also made a huge buy 50K shares on Monday.

FWIW, Saw and verified this "Buying the S&P 500 when the VIX hits 51 has yielded a 1-year forward gain 100% of the time since 1990". Historical S&P 500 data supports this claim. Caution is warranted given the potential for other shoes to drop, but methinks well selected value stocks will do OK.
When this Value Investing forum started, buying value stocks didn't look smart during the dot.com bubble, but it worked out ..just took awhile.
