judy,
I have been reading several reports lately that reflectthe following:
1.Money flow into the overall market is slowing substantially(markets making higher highs with less money)
2.Indexed equities making higher highs while the broader market not following.

Apparently the leading stocks are going up but overall the majority are not following on strength.Sort of like the last few puffs before the balloon pops?

I don't know...I just read the articles(Friday & today for example).

A word on MSFT split:

A half a dozen people I know were all waiting for Microsoft's split to buy. I have been telling them since it was in the 130's to buy BEFORE this split - I even showed them historical graphs so they understood why. I finally bet someone that if they set a buy stop Friday morning at the interim double bottom last week ($154) that it would fill, and that if they and set a sell stop for 5% more ($80.875) on the day of the split that it would fill also. MSFT hit 81 11/16 today. I won lunch, he made $1500...
