Well, hang on here a sec; nobody deserves to lose money to the ruthless and unscrupulous, and from the way these people were running their company, a buyout was probably the only way out for some shareholders that weren't part of the game, and were investing in good faith. The fact that the insiders have provided themselves with a golden parachute has aided those other investors that probably never could have sold their shares for what they should have been worth anyway; due to the illiquidity.
