Hey Bob,

Have you heard of "The Wheel" strategy? pretty popular on reddit. Not for me as I'm more of a trend chaser with a Ted twist. Sounds like what you are doing, with your Ted twist.

I don't use margin either because if you use Ted's method and there's something like the COVID Crash in 2020 it's possible to get margin called near the bottom of the crash (which was just a one month bear market). If your account is a cash account then you can just sit through the short-term fluctuations without worrying about getting margin called.

From now on I'm focused on the low range base breakouts because those IMO are less risky than the high level consolidations. I flirted with the idea of using stops but I notice if you do use stops (even loose ones) you pay attention too closely to the market and can prematurely cut positions out of fear (or at least I do). Sometimes you flat out get whipsawed and have to get back in at a higher price if you get stopped out. So I'm back to no stops like Ted Warren recommends in his book.
