Eric, It's MIC is crumbling right in front of us Kind of, but right now, their MIC is being juiced to the max. RuZZia is not only blowing through their defense budget, they are also forcing banks to extend lots and lots of financing to all of the "war factories." It's a credit bubble that cannot sustain itself. Meanwhile RuZZia is withdrawing less and less from their sovereign wealth fund. It's showing up in their inflation figures, which just went above 10% this year, because RuZZia now has to make up for their dwindling currency reserves by printing money. The people, however, don't have any clue that their economy is a slow-motion train wreck. As I mentioned before, the people of RuZZia are being paid very well. Wages have gone up faster than inflation due to the worker shortages. Meanwhile the poorer communities, the ones that have been supplying troops so that PooTin can throw them into the meat grinder, have experienced local economic "booms" thanks to the sign-on bonuses along with the "death payments." A common theme is the sight of wives in these communities now walking around with fur coats and designer handbags. Bottom line is that PooTin has done a fantastic job buying more and more time, and it has paid off handsomely. Now he has the Orange Dumbass in the White House, which means there is a good chance that one day, Mr. Orange will finally cut off all military aid and intelligence-sharing with Ukraine. Then PooTin can finally tell his military to go all-in, make breakthroughs on the battlefield, and demoralize Ukraine to the point of political instability. Unfortunately for PooTin, Trump hasn't cut off aid yet. The narcissist-in-chief still wants the Nobel Peace Prize, so he's going to continue meddling in the war until he gets a ceasefire one way or another. Although right now that's good news for Ukraine, it might encourage PooTin to take more drastic measures, including the use of tactical nukes. And that's a scenario that even the Orange narcissist cannot ignore. One thing is for certain, however. No matter what, PooTin will NEVER end the war willingly. Tenchusatsu
