All of us have the same experience one way or another... And very likely more than only once... I speak from experience... One time some years ago I was short the lumber futures market... The day I took a short position the lumber futures locked limit up... It opened and locked limit up for nearly a week straight... Finally one day it traded near limit up again and I was able to cover my short position... That same say that I cover that horribly costly losing short position the lumber market locked limit down and for the next few days came back down all the way to where it would have given me a profit for my short position... Was I pissed and upset, you know I was... I was beside myself about it so I figured I better not do that again... GZ
