To change the subject, there's a posting on the Yahoo chat that Acclaim is in talks to buy GT:

messages.yahoo.com@m2.yahoo.com

Any thoughts?

Buddy

Orville & Wilbur Wright and all, <ggg>

If interested, check these sites. I believe Buddy Conyers has already been there as well, since he quoted Scott from Apogee's Homepage in his post. ("Big-Head Syndrome") So, though some might doubt that Scott IS Scott, it appears to me that his posts seem to be written in the same style as that which appears on the Apogee homepage. FWIW.

Next Generation's commentary on Scott Miller et. al.:

next-generation.com

Apogee's Homepage: apogee1.com

-Click on "ABOUT US" from the window on the left
-Then, click on "Meet the People at Apogee/3D Realms"
-Next, click on Scott Miller in the Developers listing in Personal Bios.

For other "fun" stuff:

-Click on "Corporate Profile" for another pic of Scott with his bud, George. Kinda reminds me of a picture from the movie, "Alien". Ummm...I mean the distortion effects and red coloration in the image, not necessarily the alien itself. ;) And, what a nice, family-oriented picture on the monitor screen below the dudes - WHO RULE - by their own testimony!

Unfortunately, Scott's virtual office tour is currently offline. :( We will have to use our imagination on this one...However, if you see someone perpetratin' on the cell phone while cruisin' in a '98 Gold Lexus GS 400, IT MUST BE SCOTTY!!

Gotta love the section, "FINGER US"...ahhh...ok! You asked for it!! TAKE THAT!! (Oh, sorry, I misunderstood again!) And, thanks for your email address, we appreciate it very much, though we know you won't read anything unless it's on this board!!! Rats!!!

Finally, to quote their homepage, presumably written by Scott and/or George, as they speak often in the first person on their site, but I might be wrong yet again (OK, SCOTT! IT'S ALL MY FAULT, IT IS! IT IS! THERE WERE NO MISCOMMUNICATIONS, AND YOU WERE RIGHT!!! RIGHT, YES RIGHT...THE WHOLE TIME!!! YOU WERE RIGHT!!) Feel better?? Sorry, I digress...here's the quote, and this man even speaks some French!!! (He is so damn smart. I love smart men. Homo multarum littrarum! You go, boy!!)

<<Our people are our most important asset and strength. They are what make us who we are, provide us with our vision, maintain our esprit de corps, and they will take us into the future, successfully.>> <<We can only accomplish this by working harder, thinking smarter, and breaking molds. Once again, it's our people who will lead the way. We must be proud and honored to have the fortune to be involved in this business and to shape its future - there are thousands like us who would give anything to be in our shoes.>>

I don't know about you guys, but I would surely like to be in Scott's shoes - with all those GTIS options (sans fungus, por favor)!! NOT.

Well, I have a few questions for Scott, but I will post those at another time before his trial membership expires and he becomes a [sniffle, sniffle] distant memory... In the meantime, [yawn], I have more pressing matters. ;) Pass me the remote... hehehe

Enjoy, ;)
