Sharkie, Often trade wars turn into real wars. Fareed Zakaria over on CNN made an excellent point. The ONLY reason why China hasn't attacked Taiwan as of yet is because the rest of the world would stop trading with them. That, in China's eyes, would be too much of an economic cost. But now with Trump's dumbass trade war of choice, the economic deterrence is no longer a factor anymore. After all, if China is going to enter a trade war with America no matter what, they might as well go full-force into a hot war with Taiwan. Tenchusatsu
