I noticed some low quality stocks rebound recently. Like AAPL, ZITL. Usually it happens before a big correction(10-20%) The problem is very hard to find the top. So I am very cautious and looking for hedge ideas.
YHOO did not participate in the recent bull run. BBY had a big run up to P/E 63. That is too high. Most senior officers at BBY are selling in Jan. 98. You can see about 7-8 Form 144 filed in the past two months. I consider those short candidates.
I will use my long positions like PTIS, NANO as a hedge.

I don't know much about your reasons for those pairs. I can understand WCOM vs. T, but not NOVL vs. CSCO.

There isn't much interest in this thread because of the big bull run. When the market falls, people will look for hedge ideas. I think we should continue to try and find some pairs before the market down 10%.

Cheers! We are heading for some good things,

Steven
