The comparisons with IMMU seem to me to be only superficial. IMMU had a founder and CEO (via his wife) who was selfish, rapacious, arrogant and stubborn. But he did not control enough shares to fight off a hostile takeover focused on shareholder value versus his control of the company. With IBRX one person calls the shots and there is no credible possibility of ever removing him or his absolute control over the company. I knew this when I invested but what I didn’t know but what I have come to wonder is whether the man is, to use the technical, medical term: barking mad. Now I have to decide whether I hang on while he appears to be losing his focus on IBRX or just cut my losses at some point. Guess I should have put my money in safe, US Treasuries. Oh, wait….they are cratering now, too!
