Bull re: thestreet story. I would guess (no backup), that Cramer had nothing to do with it. Its a fairly diverse group of reporters, who aren't going to destroy the credibility of the whole mag, for Cramer. Besides he had a problem some years ago that he has written about often, and I don't think it would be worthwhile for him to go thru it again, over a stock transaction. Cramer's % ownership of The Street.com as a business might turn out to be worth ALOT more than Cramer would ever make in the market trading. That being said, I also wouldn't be surprised if the reporter (who is covering the conference), wasn't aware of the news, and was put up to it by one who DID have a large short position. Just a thought.
