They tried to hang Fauci on statements he made in 2020 when Covid was new, the first variant wasn't as easily spread as Omicron and later variants, treatment protocols were still experimental, mistakes were made by the Trump administration in not closing the borders and ordering PPE from domestic suppliers added to its spread, and decisions by governors to move patients from hospital beds to elderly nursing homes greatly increased the mortality rates.
