Bald Man from Mars, <We probably have to go down another 20% before it bottoms, i.e. low to mid 30s...> can you support your prediction? It seem like you are hoping that CIEN goes to these levels so that you buys some shares or cover your short. It is very hard to call a bottom on these stocks when they start falling. Considering that the optics conference starts tuesday (or is it Wednesday?) I think we are close to the bottom since I anticipate that some product announcement or good news will be coming out over the next two days that will help spear the turnaround in the price of the stock. I listened to the conference call last night. Did anyone catch the mention of a $21 million "potential" contract that they became aware off last monday night after they learned about MCI's plans? That could potentially cover about 1/2 of the shortfall from MCI this quarter.. I think that is why the company is positive that they may still be able to have the same revenue this quarter as the past quarter. By the way, to keep the record straight, I did pick up some shares today, hoping that the falling knife doesnot have too much more to go. BULL
