It should go without saying but a Cabinet-level official should not leave their access badge anywhere where it might be easily stolen. Keeping it secure on their person or safely stored at home is the best way to prevent such a breach. This is the same Kristi Noem who regularly cosplays as a fascist stormtrooper by dressing up in tactical gear to join ICE raids terrorizing marginalized communities.
