I came across an interesting article at Red Herring about Cisco and how they are leaving room for competitors (i.e. Lucent and Nortel) to move in on them.

Don't you just love the action. Didn't someone on this thread say a split made no difference?? Financially it doesn't, but psychologically it can give the best of stocks a great boost. The split was announce when it was about $92. At $110, we may get another next year. Keep up the good work Lucent. It would be interesting to see the average shares per trade.
