mnmuench, It's a cold and rainy night...here and there....and if he is going out you can follow him. I'm staying inside with the animals that have the sense to get out of the rain. i'm tempted, very tempted to follow him. but some mysteries are best left alone. besides, like you, i'm feeling the need to self-extract. it would be hilarious if one day we discovered we had a collaborated book, composed of alternate postings, with story line subject to the whim of whoever's turn it is? sort of a terrestrial version of "The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy"? thanks for mentioning Jack London. i'll have to go look up Ko'olau the leper now. ghunk
