The reason the Liberals won is because most Canadians do not understand the consequencies of having a Liberal/NDP government that promises people free money and hundreds of things Canada cannot afford and most Canadians do not understand the destructive policies of carbon taxes and anti-resource development that are destroying the wealth and competitive economics that made Canada rich in the first place. Deficit financing to give Canadians unaffordable benefits is causing the inflation we suffer under, destruction of investment and wealth that we all experience, the unaffordability of basic housing, medicare, food and other basic needs and the weakening of our defence against outside threats, both economic (tariffs) and from kinetic action by hostile countries and people. Most Canadians also do not understand that extremely bad management by all levels of governments coupled with waste, fraud and corruption are massively increasing costs of all programs provided by this government, just like in the U.S.
