Mr Michael Gustavson reports The airborne EM survey on the Mustang
property commissioned from TerraQuest was completed at the end of
January 1998 and has since been analyzed by MPH Consulting for the
removal of any potential cultural anomalies. MPH, as project managers,
have reported to the company that 24 magnetic anomalous targets exist on the 250,000 square acre Mustang property and that ground crews are now on site completing ground geophysical follow up to further define and prioritize drill sites for the upcoming spring program, expected to get underway during March. Negotiations for property access with the various landowner - leaseholders are now complete and MPH Consulting, acting on behalf of the company, has applied for all necessary licences and drill permits for which approvals are expected shortly. More kimberlites in Northern Alberta

Mr John Auston reports
Buffalo Hills Project, North-Central Alberta
The $10 million program announced by the joint venturers on February 9 1998
is well under way. Two reverse circulation rigs are drilling large diameter
holes in the central portions of kimberlite K-14 to collect a sample of at
least 500 tonnes for analysis by dense media separation. A machine capable
of drilling large diameter core is about to begin taking a sample of
approximately 40 tonnes from kimberlite K-91, located 2.3 kilometres from
K-14.
The first two magnetic anomalies drilled in areas about 30km east of the
earlier discoveries have proven to be reflections of kimberlite. The two
kimberlites, termed K-11 and K-15, have sizeable magnetic signatures:

Anomaly Depth of
Dimensions Overburden
---------- ----------
K-11 500m x 250m 13.4 metres
K-15 600m x 200m 42.7 metres

These early results from the reconnaissance program are encouraging
indications of a new cluster or clusters of pipes beyond the two identified
to date. As announced on February 9 1998, the program of scout drilling is
continuing, with at least another 13 magnetic anomalies scheduled to be
tested this winter.

Ed - bit of der action on Marum and Victory. I wonder if Victory will be victorious in the diamond hunt.

The Marum folks have some interesting photos and computer plots of geophysics on their web site. Will they be the first outside Ashton to come up with kimberlite?

Diamond potential in South Central Saskatchewan

Pure Gold Minerals Inc PUG
Shares issued 24,870,966 Mar 4 close $1.06
Thu 5 Mar 98 News Release
See Caribgold Resources Inc (CG) News Release
Mr Paul Zyla reports
Since last October CaribGold Resources and Pure Gold Minerals have
acquired, by staking, a total of 715,000 acres in an area of south central
Saskatchewan.
The claims were staked to cover a significant concentration of variable
kimberlite indicator minerals consisting of high chrome pyrope garnets,
calcic pyrope-almandine garnets, magnesium almandine garnets and chrome
diopsides. Three separate clusterings of anomalous concentrations of
kimberlite indicator minerals were identified from samples collected in
1991 by the Saskatchewan geological survey.
Since staking the claims, the 50/50 joint venture completed a 15,000 line
km high resolution magnetic survey over the entire property with flight
lines spaced at 400 metre intervals. The companies' geophysical consultants
have selected 21 high priority circular magnetic anomalies, some of which
appear to be in clusters, that may represent kimberlite bodies. The
magnetic anomalies all lie within the high concentration of indicator
minerals.
Following a detailed compilation of data obtained, the companies plan to
investigate the 21 magnetic anomalies by helicopter mag survey, ground
geophysics and drilling.
The Saskatchewan project is a 50/50 joint venture with Pure Gold Resources.
