Even those expressing displeasure did so with a sense of futility. "What am I going to do?" asked Wahrman. "Fight Bill Gates?"

So what was the deal with that t-shirt guy anyway? Microsoft has declared the truth to be libel?

Some ISPs, however, are fans of IE4. GreenNet President Nelson Valverde says, "It was a bumpy ride up the learning curve, but we have now mastered the beast and enjoy it and recommend it to our customers."

Still, when even supporters describe it as a "beast," it's clear that IE4 has its challenges.
