Your 100% correct! Its been partched here since August of last year. Yeah BC is on the other side of that ridge but maybe,just maybe it can carve out a storm for The NE USA. I see some interesting things happening and I hope its a new wet pattern. Another problem were having here Clone,is the moisture content in the lower levels,storm after storm that were predicted this year literally dried out once it got near our area,rain that evaporates before hitting the ground called "verga" Keeping fingers and toes crossed for a new wet pattern

Hope this pans out! Omega Block Pattern A Flood Threat In Soaked Plains, Drought Stricken NortheastFor several days, the weather pattern over the U.S. will become blocked and slow. That means soaking, possibly flooding rain in the soggy Plains and also where rain is needed in the Northeast.
