To everyone who would like to understand how truely large the opportunity is to make a business out of sub contracting or out sourcing mfg. expertise in the Pham. industry. I would strongly urge you to read The Economist Feb. 21 1998--Survey: Phamaceuticals Pg.56. Long story short, 1) there is coming an explosion of new drugs, 2) ability to finance all of the opportunities is in question this is what is driving Glaxco/SKB 3) industry will specialize more along lines of function discovery companies, marketing co. and manf. with specialized service providers-clinical study providers molc. libarys etc.
