//ot - No I doubt AMAT earnings will be hit by 30% - seems kind of high. Though come to think of it AMAT in its last c.call lowered earnings expectations for the coming quarter by 25%. So I guess they themselves smacked their own earnings estimate by around 30%? Coincidence? Perhaps not... BTW re: The reduction in 1 billion in revenue for the semi-equips last year means about 28.5 billion in revenue for them and just brought that BTB down for last year for certain months. I just wish they indicate which months came down - would be able to see a better trend.
