A lot of times, especially during a major price reversal,

the fundamentals do not jive with the developing technical picture.
That's not to say that ASMIF is definately in a turnaround mode technically. The chart seems to support that idea, but until it's confirmed it's only speculation.

When the fundamental case is that poor, then it's even more imperative that investors await a technical confirmation before plowing money into the issue.

Bond 007. versus Goldfinger...Never say Die.

For your Tuesday morning edification, a comparison of the forces playing the stage ropes behind the scenes.

In this corner, weighing in at 5.85% yield, the Master of Disaster...
Bond, US 30-year Bond.

In the other corner, weighing in at $298 per ounce, The Man with the Midus Touch, The Golden Boy, 99.9% pure...Troy Gold.

These two just never say die, and when you think the one is out of the picture, he dances right back in. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, so lets abbreviate this post right now...

Bond.

Gold.

Are both charts reversing trend at the same time? Are the evil Goldfinger and his sidekick "Inflation" dead and buried? Was the recent rise in Silver prices are harbinger of Gold to come? Will Bond ever go to bed with Ms.Pennyworth? And what would a Penny-be-worth if Bond fails to contain the evil Goldfinger?

Stay Tuned.
