Have we discussed "variable tint" yet? "... a transparent roof is nice at times, but every so often, you’d be wishing for a shade. In an effort to add a bit of flexibility, Chevrolet is offering an electrochromic hardtop for the Corvette coupe, with a variable-tint glass element for natural light, but not too much natural light."

Youtube livestream starting earlier this evening, moonroof discussion begins at 37:52. They call it a "first ever." On first listen I picked up that the roof has three settings "to get rid of opacity" and they think it will include a blackout (aka monochromatic) setting. Of course, they could be confusing the term with "electrochromatic," but in any event they LOVE the idea.
