CC mentioned architectural referencing the retrofit area. When architects/designers call out for it on their plan whether it be new install or retro, it's good to see in the general/specific notes what exactly is being called for. For example, "Smart Glass." We usually see in the notes where to get the product and often the installation company that is being recommended by the architect/designer.

At this point, this is where it becomes difficult because installation requires specialized skills such as in electrical wiring, integration with building automation system, etc...
Then, different countries have their own standards and codes for building/remodel...

I believe that until these things can be addressed and we see some kind of uniformity, Smart glass windows in architectural sector will remain a challenge. I'm not saying that this is not being done, I do not know.

It was a good Q1 report and it could be the catalyst to more investment monies coming in to this field.
