I like Armstrong and will check out. Lyn Alden isn't a Keynsian, though. She is the best person I've found to explain banking to the layman. She is very knowledgeable and consistent.

If / when you have time, I heartily recommend her recent book: Broken Money. This is the clearest exposition of modern banking at a high level that you will find ...in my opinion.

I may be biased a little. I'm am an engineer. She is a finance person with an engineering background.

She has, in the book, dealt with Keynsians and hard money advocates in a very clear fashion. It really is worth reading.

Get her book. She's not a Keynsian. She just lives in the real world and understands banking very well.

If she is wrong on specifics then point out where.

I'm open to specifics about where she might be wrong.
