Check this out, Wharfie:

McDonald’s says it plans to hire 375,000 people this summer (CNN)

Sounds good, no? Except ...

McDonald’s reports largest U.S. same-store sales decline since 2020 (CNBC)

By the way, McDonald's currently employs 800,000 workers at its U.S. restaurants. That means McDonald's is aiming to increase their workforce by almost 50%, right? Sounds extremely bullish.

Er, no.

You see, McDonald's has a 100% turnover rate. That means they almost never retain any of their employees for over a year. So it seems those 375,000 people they plan to hire will just replace those who are looking to quit in the next 3-6 months.

We'll see later on when McDonald's updates the number of people they employ later this year.

But this announcement by Mickey D's sounds a LOT like something that would fool the Trump regime into believing. And I'm sure at least one MAGA cultist on this thread will post this story and call it another "W" for their Orange King.
