Frank. Well, that busted drug deal (sounds like a TV show) did rain on our parade today. Hope things turn around later today. I don't know why it should have affected Merck. Merck has said all along that they are not interested in merging with anyone. There pipeline and R&D is good enough.

I had Merck in 1986 but it got sold out of my account on Black Monday, along with other good stocks, while I was in Europe on that famous day. I did buy and sell it several times since then. Even if you were holding it since 1992 it was not a bad return.
