To all: IMO greenspan is scared s$#%@less. He knows the Asian crisis will be bad but does not want to scare anyone. The best course of action when you don't know what to do is do nothing plus raising rates may have a devastating effect in US and world markets. bog.frb.fed.us Read the stuff on outlook for 98 and the delicate balance stuff. IMO the whole situation is very unstable and dangerous (of course Pancho has got the bear glasses om since last Fall so I may be wrong. Risking getting burnt, everyone trying to guess the market does, I think there is a good chance (over 70%) that we see the October lows again before the end of April. Pancho Pancho
