Sam, Excel uses the same file format between Mac & PC. Download Eric's file, add a ".XLS" to the filename, and click away. Only problem would be if his version of Excel is later than yours. I do this regularly between my Mac at home and my Win95 at work. This cross-platform capability is something that MSFT has done well for several version upgrades; without it I would have had a hard time coexisting on a Mac in a mostly DOS-Win95 world. BTW -- Word & PowerPoint file formats differ between the two platforms, but do have the translators built into software on both sides. Add ".DOC' or ".PPT", answer the dialog box about translating, then you're all set. regards...
