Bipin,

Anything to enhance the performance of Java is welcome, I know it's enough just to learn the language, but the performance has got to improve, at least by the time the current projects are ready to be deployed. I don't think the performance issue is really going to stop a company from developing in Java right now, but my experience has been that when web-enabling an application, the performance as seen from the point of view of the enduser sitting at their browser takes a significant hit. I think this article you refer to is really good news!

Regards,
Dave
