AFAIK, Toyota owns a piece of the PDLC manufacturing company that supplies their roof systems. I think this is more PR than reality. They probably got the haze down a bit, maybe fix tinted the glass some to achieve a better thermal effect in sunlight. Who knows, just glad to see they are getting negative feedback about the roof.

I agree about SPD obviously and the Corvette is the 'cheapest' car to platform SPD(I assume) since the SLK fwiw. Hopefully Corvette uses SPD and heralds the movement into many more GM cars and gets the fence sitters into the SPD camp. I've become a lot more hopeful recently about the show me side of this.
