I used to loathe the teachers who made you show your math work to get credit. Why would I waste my time writing a bunch of stuff that had nothing to do with how I got the answer?

Some of the greatest things to happen this century are free online courses from some of the top universities in the world. You don't get credit for them, but as a learning tool, you can't beat them!

It's like Andreeson said, everything wants to drill down to costing zero, and software is eating the world.

I wonder if there are any high school guidance counselors who advise kids to start an Only Fans page? In many instances, it would be far more prudent than "follow your passion" and enroll at a private college to study stuff like pottery, voice, or ancient literature.

I also think families should be able to sue high school guidance counselors. If they are giving advise, they should be liable for it. The schools could take out insurance bonds to cover their counselors.
