Ann. I heard that those people in Florida were warned the night before that it was coming. But after that there evidently was no more news and the people did not know what to do, so they went to bed which is the worst place to be in a case like this.

I heard that one family that slept in a closet was alright. And some other family saw the dark twister clouds and went into the bathroom. Their roof blew off but they were alright also.

Hello Ann,

Gosh I didn't know about the bad weather, I hope that my house is ok. I have been at the Mardi Gras and have not been even keeping up with the news at all. It has been all I can do just to keep up with my family including the two year old. We had beautiful weather here in New Orleans and the Mardi Gras was great.

You are welcome for the birthday wishes, I am glad that you had a good one.
