Jeff, Thanx. Of course, I agree with your addendum re personality variations within each various breed. A book I unhesitatingly recommend to anyone contemplating dog ownership is, "The Right Dog For You," by Daniel F. Tortora, Ph.D. Also highly recommended is "Understanding Your Dog," by Dr. Michael W. Fox. Dr. Fox has written, "Understanding Your Cat." I have not read it but, knowing Dr. Fox by reputation, would tend to recommend it to the cat owners among us. I can't begin to hazard a guess at the name of the Nestle's Basset Hound. For some strange reason, I keep getting confused with the Dreyfus lion and Coast Federal Savings' rabbit, but not with Cleo the Basset Hound on "The Peoples Choice." So, the answer, please? Holly
