"and there is absolutely nothing you or anyone else can do to stop the climate from changing."

Of course there is, they can use climate change as an excuse to tax the rich...

News flash: Your comrades are declaring war on Shrek ...

Russian Lawmakers Declare War on Shrek (The Moscow Times)

Here's my favorite part of the article:

*******
“They don’t seem bad, but they have both physical and personality flaws,” said State Duma deputy Yana Lantratova, who presented slides contrasting “good” Soviet-era children’s films and toys with those originating in Western countries.

“Gradually, with the infiltration of Western culture, characters began to appear who embodied negative traits but were elevated to the status of positive characters,” one slide read. “The image of the purely positive character began to fade.”

*******

This is too funny. Apparently making flawed characters the protagonist is "Western propaganda" that is corrupting young RuZZian minds.

Moreover, the antagonist of the first Shrek movie was a diminutive autocrat who exhibits cowardice. Sounds familiar ...
