James,

Thanks for the article. They sure are moving on their business plan. I can't imagine them staying independent as a company supplying the services to their lil' old NY area. I only hope that Shant has made it clear to the people with the deep pockets that CVUS would be for sale for the right $$$$'s.

James and All,
this is great news for CVUS and HLIT. I am not positive, but I doubt anyone could have connected a fiber optic system, and optoelectronics better than HLIT's engineers.
- Today, CellularVision USA (Nasdaq: CVUS - news) unveiled its world class LMDS Operation & Communication Center (LOCC). The company also announced the completion of a new 500-mile fiber optic capacity, which connects the LOCC to key CVUS hub sites within the company's New York service area.

Located at the Brooklyn Army Terminal, the new center will significantly expand and improve the delivery of SPEED(SM), CVUS'
revolutionary broadband high-speed Internet service, and the company's studio quality subscription television package.
The Speed SM is from New Media a division of HLIT,and the fiber optic connections probably from HLIT. CVUS could not be doing the fiber optics, and engineering without HLIT.
