No, Barron Trump was not rejected by Harvard, Melania says amid university battle (USA Today) Long answer: Despite what some leftists are claiming, I really doubt Trump is doing what he's doing just because his son didn't get into Harvard, or Columbia, or any other Ivy League for that matter. Instead, Trump is picking a fight with Harvard because it is the biggest symbol of academic elitism. First of all, it can be argued that Harvard was on the forefront of "woke" politics. It was only last year that the former president of Harvard, Claudine Gay, resigned thanks in large part due to her weak defense against disruptive pro-Palestinian protests. She clearly was on the side of the protesters, even to the point where Jewish students felt threatened and unsafe. Such a stance can only be explained by "woke." Second, Harvard has become a symbol of entitled-ass students who major in "useless" subjects like gender studies, then demand the government pay off their student loans. Obviously that's an oversimplification of the issue, but the point is that academic elitism is running rampant, and it's starting to impact taxpayers. Third, Harvard is an academic hub for international students. Young adults from all over the world, especially future world leaders, will come to the U.S. and study at Harvard. They will then take their learnings abroad and apply what they've learned to their home countries. Many world governments find Harvard pedigrees to be very valuable assets. However, to the MAGA hicks, that also means Harvard is front and center in the so-called "globalist" movement, which they view with extreme conspiratorial suspicion. That makes Harvard part of the "problem" and not part of the "solution," from their (arguably uninformed) view of the world. *Public Enemy #1* All of the above makes Harvard Public Enemy Number One in the eyes of the MAGA cult. All of the above gives the Mango Mussolini political capital to go after and destroy one of America's oldest and most prestigious institutions of higher education. And all of his Ivy League-educated cronies, including Harvard-educated Peter Navarro and the Yale-educated couch-fukker, are more than willing to support Trump in his crusade against their respective alma mater. Why? Because they were never a part of the current "woke" elite. Because they are more than happy to overturn the "woke" Powers That Be in the Ivy League and replace them with Trump-cucking sycophants. What better way to do that than by swinging the Orange Wrecking Ball at their own universities? *Conclusion: It's All About the War on "Woke."* Which means it doesn't have anything to do with Barron. And no, I really doubt Trump is jealous that Malia Obama got into Harvard.
