I agree with you. I have similar post on this thread about 10 days ago.

I think the management should give us explanation.

Don't expect EP to shed more light on DEC for the next several months.
The two companies have to go through a "quiet" period as the SEC requires until shareholders can make the approval. Any disclosures about organizations, development, etc would be considered collusion at this time.

Now if Palmer decided to do some trimming...

CPQ has significantly outperformed MSFT and INTC over the past year !! Up 132% to MSFT's 74% and INTC's 44%. It trails only DELL,
which is up 298%. Any long-term CPQ holders who are complaining about 132% should be thanking their lucky stars for the performance of this stock !!!!

Stephen,

I just got into CPQ a few weeks ago @ 30 1/8 so i'm pretty happy at
the moment. I think with the DEC deal that when things are sorted
out this stock will be a real winner big time.

Good luck to all.

Patience Stephen. Compaq's day in the sun will come. I guarantee it.
Remember CPQ was trading at 28 just a couple of weeks ago. That in itself is a pretty good rise.
