Erik, I wasn't trying to disparage Ancor for offering Fibre Channel adapters in the past. As you said, they really had no choice. Now, the situation is MUCH different. There are a number of companies making adapters, and the PCI bus has become the defacto standard. Ancor may continue to make adapters for some of the weirder bus types, like MicroChannel, but eventually, I think that will stop too. I'd like to see Ancor concentrate on what they do best, and that is switches. (I'd like to see hubs added to that list too.) Craig
