Wasn't for Canada: In the 2009 auto bailout, Canada provided a significant amount of financial aid to General Motors (GM) and Chrysler to prevent their collapse, which was part of a broader US-led effort. The Canadian government, in conjunction with the Ontario government, offered $3.3 billion in loans, with GM receiving $3 billion and Chrysler receiving the remaining $0.3 billion. This represented a 20% share of the US government's bailout offering.
